My research focuses on the impact of two specific disturbances in urban environments (light pollution and BAC12 chemical contamination) on two aquatic biodiversity compartments (the biofilm and the porcupine mullet Chelon ramada, a grazing fish) and their interrelationships. My work focuses mainly on experimental and field approaches to address the singular and combined effects of these two types of stress on biofilms, fish, and their interrelationships, described from the angle of the trophic link between biofilm and grazing fish. This trophic link will be apprehended through analysis of the fatty acid composition of the organisms.
