The EABX unit joined the EMS process in autumn 2022.

The EMS (Environmental Management System) demonstrates our efforts towards a better protection of the environment. It is a long-term commitment to environmental improvement, enabling the unit to continually improve its performance.

As part of this approach, the unit commits to:

• Comply with environmental regulations applicable to its activities
• Identify, reduce or control the environmental impact of its activities
• Implement corrective actions to achieve these objectives
• Set up indicators to monitor progress

The EMS approach is closely linked to the principles of sustainable development: 

• Controlling risks to the environment and to people
• Reduce energy consumption
• Reduce waste production

This commitment is part of a collective environmental approach adopted by the units involved, with the aim of obtaining ISO 14001 certification.
