My research focuses on the study of chemical and environmental stresses affecting aquatic ecosystems. As part of my postdoctoral work, I am concentrating on the response of biofilms to fluctuations in temperature and water level, using experimental and field-based approaches. I study the structural and functional responses as well as the functional stability of biofilms using various biomarkers (e.g., biomass, metabolomics, lipidomics).
