My research activities focus primarily on bioassessment, that is, the evaluation of the ecological status of an environment or ecosystem based on the taxonomic, functional, and/or structural characteristics of biological communities observed in situ. My research projects conducted within EABX are thus mainly dedicated to the study and development of bioindication methods for assessing the ecological status of French water bodies. These methods rely on the responses of diverse biological groups, including phytoplankton and benthic macroinvertebrates.
