My research focuses on the impact of anthropogenic pressures on the functioning of the various biological compartments of aquatic ecosystems. This involves a hierarchical analysis of the pressures and functioning of these ecosystems, the development of system status indicators (bioindication) and, above all, a large-scale holistic analysis (where possible) of these different compartments. The aim of this mission is to produce knowledge that can be transferred operationally to the management of aquatic environments.
