Aurélien JAMONEAU
Plant Community Ecology
ECOVEA | Researcher

My research area is the ecology of aquatic plant communities, and I am seeking to understand the mechanisms that structure diversity at different spatial and temporal scales. I am particularly interested in the roles of historical, landscape and regional (dispersal) processes and the importance of biotic relationships in the organisation of species assemblages. My study models are mainly aquatic plants (macrophytes, phytoplankton and benthic diatoms) that grow in lake or river aquatic ecosystems.
