I am primarily a food web ecologist. I am interested in the effects of some chemical factors (i.e., the stoichiometry of the chemical elements) and of some physical factors of the environment (viscosity, density, turbulence, luminosity) on the structure and dynamics of food webs. As for the types of environments and organisms concerned, I studied, among other topics, the response of the phytoplankton to turbulence, the size relationship between predators and their prey, or the effects of the stoichiometric composition of primary producers on their consumers.
