Aquatic Macrophyte Ecology
ECOVEA | Researcher

My research focuses on the functional relationships between macrophyte communities (aquatic plants visible to the naked eye) and their chemical (trophy) and physical (hydromorphology, hydrodynamics) environments in lentic hydrosystems (lakes, ponds, dams, reservoirs, etc.). In particular, I study the effects of global changes (artificialisation of biotopes, introduction of invasive exotic species, global warming, changes in wind regimes) on these plants (spatio-temporal dynamics, eco-morphological traits, specific composition, abundance) using biological and environmental data acquired in the field, in the laboratory or by modelling.
