My main role is to organize and structure scientific data to facilitate its use by researchers. This involves the design and management of relational databases, the development of web-based tools for data entry and consultation, and the training of permanent and temporary teams. An essential part of my work also involves coordinating IT aspects within the unit, whether this involves choosing technical solutions, training, implementing and adopting new technologies, or keeping a technological watch on innovations in data acquisition and exploitation. I also have a mission dedicated to setting up processing pipelines for bioinformatics data, in particular “omics” data. Finally, I'm involved in research projects, whether to integrate and format third-party data or to support the publication of the data produced.
